The ‘Happiness Toolkit & Diary’ can be used by children with social - emotional, behavioural and / or mental health issues. It accompanies the ‘Happiness Toolkit’ storybook. Conceptualised by Professor Sharif, it can be given to children with these issues on presentation to their primary or secondary care providers. The toolkit is comprised of six evidence-based techniques that are proven to boost self-esteem, develop resilience and promote positive mental health. This toolkit allows children and their families to engage in positive mental health practices and the diary helps in giving structure to practice these skills on a daily basis.
